Today was a good day!
- I was enjoying a great coffee here on the grid and the person next to me asks "do you know anyone that is selling a bicycle"
After a conversation and a trip to my shop they were the proud new owners of a 1964 Huffy 3 speed cruiser..... Here's the good part...
"Hey man, you like motorcycles?"
Me: "Yes, I have a slight addiction to motorcycles, what are you thinking?"
I have this Honda 360T in my backyard that I need to get rid of. It's in pieces, but I have another that is complete"
Me: "OK, can you send me a few pics?"
Next morning (today) I get 2 of the pictures I see above. To say I was excited was putting it lightly. A Honda CL450 is on my list of Must Have's and here it is in all its rusty glory!!!
I hoped in my newly acquired rig and grabbed it with minimal questioning and handed him $200 bucks for his troubles.
WOo Hoo!!
She is rough, tough and the poor engine has been exposed to the elements for some time now.
The K70's that wrap the primo wheels are from 2003 so I am assuming this old girl may have had some type of issue to cause the owner to tinker, remove the carbs and spark plugs and then leave it out back for the spiders to enjoy.
No matter! I am on it. Been looking for a good resto candidate for years and now I have one!
